As CEO and founder of LogiSense, Flavio is a serial entrepreneur and technology visionary with over 20 years of leading the delivery of products and services to Communication providers and Enterprises in the Telecom, UCaaS, IoT/M2M and digital business marketplace.
Rob Payne | Chief Technology Officer
Rob comes to LogiSense after spending almost 7 years at BlackBerry where he held senior engineering leadership positions across the company. Most recently as Senior Vice President, Global Technology Services he was accountable for the CIO function, ran the global BlackBerry network and services (such as BBM) and the engineering teams for all shared BlackBerry infrastructure (BB ID, cloud storage, etc.). He transformed the legacy infrastructure into one of the largest, lowest cost, private cloud infrastructures in the world as the basis for new service offerings and revenue growth.
Prior to this, he held several roles leading to Senior Vice President, Handheld Software, where Rob lead the device applications teams for BlackBerry 6, all device platform and product software engineering for BlackBerry 7 and co-lead the software engineering for BlackBerry 10, shipping approximately 135 million devices in 3 years.
In his 25 year career in technology across a variety of industries, Rob has a proven track record of innovation, operational excellence, and people leadership, from the smallest startups to leading teams in excess of 3,500 people. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Degree and a Diploma in Management Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Ryan Susanna | VP of Sales
Ryan is a seasoned telecommunications expert with a broad background in both the service provider and software vendor sides of the business. Ryan is currently responsible for worldwide sales at LogiSense. During his tenure, Ryan has held executive level positions including Senior Sales Executive, and Director of Sales. In these roles, he has provided strategic sales, product, and market guidance for our next generation IP service management solutions.
Prior to LogiSense, Ryan held B2B sales roles within the ISP and Digital Imaging verticals. With a flair for selling complex solutions at all levels, Ryan has more than a decade of sales and product management experience in the telecommunications industry. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Tom Gross | VP of Engineering
Tom is an accomplished technology leader who offers an impressive track record of success in building and managing interdisciplinary software development teams in fast paced start-up and corporate environments. During his 25 year career, he has led both small and large teams delivering software on; desktop, mobile, and web-based platforms.
As Director of Engineering for LogiSense, Tom ensures that the company’s development team is focused and well equipped to deliver the world’s most agile real-time usage rating and billing solution to the UCaaS, M2M/IoT, and Enterprise service provider marketplace.
Prior to LogiSense Tom served as VP, BlackBerry Handheld Application where he led a globally distributed mobile application development organization consisting of 500+ software professionals responsible for delivering many of the core applications for BB7 and the initial release of BB10 including all PIM, Media, Hub and many popular Utility apps. Tom holds a BMath, Honours Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems from the University of Waterloo.
Christine Portwood | VP of Human Resources
Christine is unconventional. And unapologetic in her pursuit of excellence. She is at LogiSense with one purpose: to build a winning team, and plays a major role in the company’s overall organizational strategy and performance. With an insatiable curiosity and playful wisdom, Portwood is willing to question the traditional role human resources plays in successful organizations.
Christine earned a BA with honors in Psychology from the University of Guelph with a post-graduate focus on Human Resources Management.
Rich Kozub | Director of Client Services
Rich leads the charge for LogiSense in the area of professional and support services. His strong leadership skills and work ethic have been instrumental in creating the high level of customer reference-ability and reputation for service that LogiSense has achieved.
Over the past 13 years, Rich has had a significant impact on the implementation of a corporate culture that focuses on customer priorities first. Rich brings a depth of experience to the team, with more than 13 years of involvement in managing customer service in the dynamic, varied and mission critical commercial Internet services world.
Chris Brown | Director of Solutions
Chris has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry dealing with Fortune 2000 enterprises and service providers globally. As Director of Solutions, Chris is responsible for a team that will learn our customers business inside and out, and design the right implementation of EngageIP for their defined goals. The Solutions group will work closely with Sales, Customer Services, Product Management and Development to ensure the delivery of the complete solution for the customer.
During his tenure at LogiSense, Chris has acted as a Senior Software Developer, Business Analyst, Sales Engineer, Director of Technology and now Director of Solutions.
Prior to LogiSense, Chris held a Senior Software Development role with Switchview/Avotus focusing on Enterprise class software for the Telecommunications market. He was a key member responsible for the architecture of their hosted services and applications. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University Of Western Ontario.
