EngageIP Prepaid Billing Module complements the IP Billing and OSS product to provide our customers with the ability to achieve predictable and consistent business cash flow and increase service levels to their clients by offering an alternative to credit card payment. These advantages are discussed in further detail below:

Provide an Alternative to Credit Card Payments

Prepaid cards provide an alternative to credit card authorization. With the EngageIP Prepaid Billing Module in place, providers have the ability to create an unlimited number of userID and password combinations (account credentials). These prepaid accounts only become active on the first use. The accounts are active for the amount of time purchased or for a preset length of time (i.e. 90 days), which ever is less. The EngageIP Prepaid Billing Module also manages the export of account credentials, for printing onto prepaid cards or flyers.

Daily/Hourly and Any Other Time-Based User Access Controls

The Prepaid Billing Module is ideally suited to hotspot scenarios as it allows for daily, hourly or other duration based services. As an example a user can be granted 24hrs of access, 1 hour of access or even just 15 mins of access. All timing is measured in seconds which provides great flexibility. These duration based access privileges can even be set to expire after a given number of days.

Time-of-Day or Time-of-Week User Access Controls

In addition to duration based access with the Prepaid Billing Module you can also create offerings that are only available on certain days, like weekends or at certain times, like evenings. This type of flexibility allows for different rates based on peak loads. In a cafe mealtimes obviously experience higher loads and therefore access is worth more at those times.

Achieve Timely Product Roll-Out within a Regional Marketplace

The Prepaid Billing Module allows for the automated creation of batch user ID and Password pairings, associated with an administrator set dollar amount and expiry date. The resulting electronic output may then be printed to prepaid access cards for distribution at local retail outlets. From a marketing perspective, this approach improves the businesses ability to market its&146; services with minimal advertising expenditure, whether through consignment arrangements, or incentive programs.
