Technical Writer - Billing/OSS - Telecom
LogiSense, a leading provider of IP Billing and Service Management systems for Telecom and Internet
Service Providers requires a skilled Technical Writer that is familiar with language used in the Telecommunications and IP Billing sectors.
The successful candidate will be highly proficient in technical English as it pertains to the Telecom/IP industry. Experience with Help Authoring Tools is a definite asset. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, production and delivery/completion of product documentation and document sets
- Create, develop, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, test or user manuals for print, multimedia or web-based publications
- Review technical information prepared by other staff members for accuracy, clarity and content
- Organize and prepare information for publication and develop publication concepts for the best communication of subject matter
- Ability to efficiently manage time and multitask in a dynamic environment to meet documentation needs as they arise
- Participate in product design/launch meetings
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of technical documention
- Minimum of 3 years working with Help Authoring Tools
- Minimum of 3 years in the Telecom and/or IP Billing industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Experience communicating features of complex products to various audiences
- Experience leading a writing project, resolving issues, and writing for multiple audiences
- Follow established standards and styles
- Responsible for planning and creating new and innovative ways to present technical information
- Positive attitude, innovative, and able to work under time constraints
- Excellent understanding of the entire software development process, including requirements, development, and quality assurance
